Is there any step by step scenario,where we can understand about SAP AUTO ID with screen shots.

Hello PSRK,

Please note the Outbound Delivery scenario to be used here is the Slap & Ship Outbound Scenario

which only uses SAP AII.

Steps in the same will be:

1) Maintain ID settings - Defauly ID version - spro - aotu id - basic settings - id settings - default id version

2) Maintain Products - spro -auto id - master data + sap easy access -- auto id -- master data

3) Maintain Devices - spro - -auto id master data + sap easy access -- auto id -- master data

4) Maintain number ranges - spro --auto id master data + sap easy acccess - auto id -- master data

5) Maintain Rules - spro - auto id - Rules

6) Maintain activities - spro - auto id - Activities

7) Maintain Locations - easy access - master data

😎 Maintain Conditions spro - auto id - conditions

9) RFC for simulating device controllers - sm59

10 ) then use auto id test tool - easy access - auto id - tools -auto id

In the left side there is a Item: Auto ID & Item Serialization --> Below there is a link called Detailed Information

In that link

SAP AII 4.0 -> RFID Enabled Slap & Ship Business Description - (The scenario)

--> RFID Enabled Slap & Ship Config Guide - (The AII Config Guide)

Inbound and Outbound Scenario combined is a Flexible Delivery Scenario

Search for the same document in the same service.sap.com/rfid --> Detailed Information

Note: Flexible Delivery is a integrated scenario. ie Backend ERP scenario

To learn SAP AII use Slap and Ship scenario only in the beginning

Hello PSRK,

The most easy scenario to understand SAP Auto ID is the Outbound Delivery Scenario.

You can find only one doucment with screen shots on service.sap.com with screen shots that too belong to first version of SAP AII that is SAP 2.1.

You can find the configuration document for the outbound delivery scenario for Outbound Delivery on

service.sap.com/rfid

Use appropriate document according to the version of SAP AII you are using.

In service.sap.com if you search for the term Auto-ID you will find many relevant documents.

Outdound Delivery scenario can be implemented very easily and configured within half a day of effort since you are using it for the first time
