Blocking the contract for not creating the subsequent document

Hi

Our user wants to delete/block the Contract, but the subsequent sales order has already been created aganist the contract.

Is their anyway to block the contract so that no subsequent document can be created against the block contract.

Hello Kiran,

Your requirement can be met by changing the validity of the contract to an earlier date so that for future referances document cannot be copied as at the time of referance it will give a warning saying that validity of the contract has expired and even if user goes ahead with that then nothing will be copied from the contract to the subsequent document.
