Change data for customers

Hi gurus,

What would be be the best way to change customers general data for eg their contact details and sales view data for nearly 2000 customers. i have tried mass but it allows to change a field values for all customers we have to change a data for x customer x data and y customer y data like wise. please advise me.

Thank you everyone, raja, sunil, anil and jignesh for advising me, as we dont have an abaper here, we would like to go LSMW, gurus please if anyone had similiar scenario and used lsmw please forward the link or details, we had sorted all details in an excel sheet and we r changing general data and sales view data and contact details. i am confused about maintaining source structures in 3rd step of lsmw. please advise any information or link.

I have a bit knowledge of LSMW, but u can use CATT and it doesnt require help of abaper.

Dear Naga,

You have two options:

1. LSMW -you will have to perform 14 steps of LSMW

2. BDC - Take a help of your ABAPer who would record the transaction & develop a required. Once the code is developed you can maintain the required data in excel sheets & BDC program would upload the same in your Master Records via background processing.

Naga,

LSMW is the best answer for mass change try..doing a search for LSMW you will find lot of data follow the step and record for one data and rest is all repetitive.

Hello Friend,

Why dont you try LSMW and do the recording for 1 change in the customer master and once template is ready fill the required data and automatically program will take care for the rest in half an hour.
