Hi,
What is the difference between BI Java and Java Stack?
Thanks,
Vaishali.
Hi,
In 7.0, BI relies on 2 technical stacks : one being the (legacy) ABAP stack where data, cubes and the lot are stored. You also have there all the BI modeling tool (RSA1), ..., the other being the Java stack which is hosting a J2EE application : the Portal !
It is the Java stack, through the use of Portal, that is responsible for rendering the reports : Web application templates (also called sometimes WAD), Queries, ...
Hope it gets clearer.
Best regards,
Guillaume

Hi,
I think both are same Guy.
There is no difference.
