Partial Lots

Hi all,

I´m trying to make a Usage Decision for a partial lot, inside a inspection lot type 03, is that possible? Even using a follow up action.

Actually, i need to finally create a quality certificate.

Thank you for your reply Keerthi,

Could you please let me know how could i customize this in my system? Because if i try to make the UD, the system replies me with an error message telling me that this inspection lot does not have all of your quantity with characteristics informed. But i have done my inspection in a partial lot (already created in the results recording) and left the remaining quantity blank.

Hi Gustavo,

Could you be more specific regard the error and the transaction.

As far as I understand, I think you're receiving error in Usage decision (and not related to certificates) that the charecteristics are open. If this is the error than, please close all the characteristics in the results recording screen, by selecting characteristic and Lock indicator.

Hi Gustavo,

Usage decision is always applicable for the total lot quantity, irrespective of whether the lot is totally or Partially. You can go ahead and create the certificate directly.
