I am having a wierd issue at my work. Deliveries are getting created with batches allocated to the items where there is no sufficient inventory to satisfy the line item.
I have checked the ATP rules and also tested by creating deliveries in background and foreground... created deliveries for a bunch of orders in background where the order quantities were chosen in a such a way that the system should perform a batch split and subsequently start confirming the next available batch and every thing is working fine in the quality environment which is a recent copy of production.
I am unable to reproduce the error in testing clients and its happening only with 3-4 materials in production.
Can somebody please advise/help me in resolving this issue?
Thanks
P.S: We have a 3rd party logistics warehouse
Dear Srinivas,
Check the master data maintanence for those 3-4 materials with compare to the other material which is not giving error.
Go to master data of the material here you check have you checked the batch management check box in the sales:General/plant data view.
I hope this will help you,
Regards,
Murali.
