Hello everybody,
I coded my own RFC. When I try to import in the IR, I cannot see my RFC. Do I have to refresh any cache?
What could be the error?
Thanks a lot, regards Mario
Micahel in se37 when you built a RFC it has to be released from the menubar function module->release.
Iam not sure abt any documents but some time I too faced the problem and when I released from se37..it works.

hi Bhavesh,
it's me again:)
why do you believe you have to release the RFC?
I never release my RFC and I can import them
without any problem
have you seen any guides about this
releasing ?

Hi Michal,
I am not an ABAP'er so, do correct me if I am wrong.
Consider a scenario, where you make some change in your RFC. Now, if this same RFC has to be used in XI such that the new change is refelected, shouldnt the RFC be released so that the change is reflected in XI. or is releasing an RFC used for some other purpose.

Bhavesh
hi,
>>>>I am not an ABAP'er so, do correct me if I am wrong.
it's no about being an abaper:)
It's about testing, testing & testing
BTW
if you make any change to the RFC all you have to
do it to restart two services (caches)
in order to see the changes
in the SAP all you have to do is to activate RFC
nothing more
I was asking as i've seen many people writing aobut this
releasing and I started wondering why
anyway <b>with the XI</b> this is for sure not a must
even if your RFC changes

michal
Hi,
did you set it as RFC enabled in SE37 in the attributes?
