Hi ,
I am working on netweaver 7.0 sp 14 java stack.
I did some tests and I think that dns names of other hosts like sld server and their ip addresses are saved in the j2ee memory , after the first request to the server , is there a way to clear this cache.
To be more specific I have tried to change the sld server in the data supplier service to another server , but I didn't see any changes in jco destiantions in the web dynpro content administrator , even though it has been written that webdynpro needs the sld server up and running when working with jco destiantions.
Regards,
Oren

I have recently encounted the same situation. Take a look at this URL. The information by help answer your question:
http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/net/InetAddress.html
From the Visual Administrator, Server-> Services -> HTTP Provider Service . On the right hand side of the screen in the upper corner, you should see a button with a recycling bin. Use it to clear the cache.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Naveed
