Hi Experts,
We are using make to order planning in APO. We have sales order for 100 kg but in product master we have defined maximum lot size 50 kg. Normally system have to create two planned orders to cover this sales order but after running of heuristic system always is creating planning order for 100 kg without considering our setting for lot size.
Could you advice us where could be the problem?
Thanks in advance
Hi Penev,
1) Please check whether the lot size data is transferred properly to APO via core interface.
2) Also check whether any rounging profile maintained in material master
Please confirm

Hi Mareeswaran,
Thanks for your replay.
We just have found that this setting is comming from customizing in R3 for lot sizes (transaction OMI4)
field for "Lot-size calculation in make-to-order production".
Now the problem is that this setting can not be transfered in APO.
This is field LGKND which have to update same field in APO table for lot sizes /SAPAPO/MATLOTSZ.
We can not find any setting in CIF for this and should be transfered with normal initiall transfer for material but is not send it.
Can you advice where could be the problem.
Thanks,
Problem solved

The situation is like this
If you want to have lot sizes in make to order in R3 customizing (tr. OMI4) you have to setup in "Lot Size: SOP" - (1 Lot-for-lot with rounding).
In APO this setting is represent in product master tab lot size field "Lot size always"
CIF have to switch on this setting if we have made customizing in R3 with OMI4
I hope this answer help.
