DELIVERY PROBLEM

Hi gurus,

When i create the delivery the follwing error appear.

No schedule lines due for delivery up to the selected date

Message no. VL248

Diagnosis

There are no schedule lines due for the given order item up to the date chosen.

System Response

The system does not create a delivery item for this order item.

Procedure

Check whether the order item to be delivered contains confirmed schedule lines.

If this is the case, set the selection date further into the future if you still want to create a delivery for this item.

Hi

check the Schedule line date in the Sales order.

VA02 / VA03 -->Select the Item then Goto -->Item --> Schedule Lines

Check the Delivery date and the Confirmed Qty, You need to give the Selection date in VL01N screen.

the Date which has the Confirmed Qty.

Ex. you created an order for 10 Qty

12.02.2009 has Confirmed Qty 0 and 14.02.2009 has Confirmed Qty 10

Selection date in VL01N will be the 14.02.2009

Hi

In a sales order if you select the line item and see the schedule lines you will see the confirmed qty and for that day only delivery can be created

Say if the order is dated today and schedule lines confirmed for 20.02.2009 then in the delivery initial screen you have to give the date as 20.02.2009 not any date before that

As Mr.Srinath rightly said there are a lot of posts on this issue and if you read your error message 2 or 3 times it explains you what it is (try to get a hint out of your message and that will trigger your thought process)

Hi Murugu

Go to VA02->item data->Schedule lines tab , there you check the delivery date and also check wheather the stock is confirmed or not

NOTE : Before posting please search in the forum as there are many queries related to this sort of problems

Thanks for your reply.Delivery date and confirmed quanties are OK .But showing this error.

Dear Muruga,

  • Check confirmed delivery date in sale order (Tab: Schedule Line Cat.and check the schedule line date). Use the same date in T. Code: VL01N.

Else,

T. Code: MBBE - check the Stock.

You may inward stock movement using T. Code: MB1C

Now, Go to:

T. Code: VA02, select that line item and run Availability Check, once you get confirmed delivery date, you can create the delivery for confirmed date.

  • Also Check, whether Sales Order is blocked for any reason, say Credit check.
