Hello all,
can someone give me a short description what are main differences between SAP NW Adapter for Generic EDI by SEEBURGER and SAP NW Adapter for Consumer Products Industry by SEEBURGER?
Does it mean that there is a difference in technical adapters (AS2/VAN/OFTP/...)?
Which EDIFACT standards/subset each of adapters include (EANCOM/...)?
Thanks
SAP Provides industry standard adapters (ROSETTANET,CIDX) , these are xml based adapters, some of the partners supports.
SEEBURGER EDI Adapter provides EDI specific, and provides all the EDI standard transactions to SAP standards IDOC mapping etc, and also the provide other adapters as needed such as AS2 (similar to file, but supports connectivity to VAN).
u can read white papers on Seeburger site itself.
