IS U billing

Hi All,

If the billing period is less than one month, some line items are not getting calculated. Period control used in the rate is Month based using key date. If I use a different period control, calculation is getting prorated based on the no. of days in the billing period.

Please suggest me what is to be done..

Thanks

Vijay

The monthly key date and monthly interval period controls works differently.

If you sen the period control as key date then you must set up a key date at the meter readin unit level. When you bill a period let's say 1st until 15th of a month and your keydate is 16th then you will not bill the amount. However let's say next billing period is 16th to 17th next month then your billing period contains twice the key date therefore system will bill your monthly charge twice.

For monthly interval base period control you can set up an interval at the portion level. If your billing period fells out of that interval then the system will prorate the charge by dividing it by 30 and multiply it by the actual number of days in billing period.

Daniel
