hi-
We have multiple line items (100+) which we would like to upload onto a new Purchase Requisition.
(1) I know there is an Adopt option under document overview which can be used to load existing PR onto the new PR.
For one, there is no existing PR with 100+ line items.
Secondly, the materials would not be the same always for each PR. So this functionality does not fit us.
(2) There is an option under new PR to include a Excel sheet in place into the PR.
I had looked at the possibilities to include/import data from an external excel sheet into this, but unable to figure out how to do so. I was able to figure out the use of the option to export the existing data into an external excel work sheet though.
Is anyone aware of way to use the Excel-in place functionality in PR to import data from an external excel sheet to populate the PR ?
Any suggestions/ recommendations most appreciated.
Rgds
Hi Srekanth,
In SAP directly in ME51 or ME51n it is not possible. But you can very well use LSMW to create New PRs directly from Excel sheet.
Hope it helps.
