Hi,

I think the installation is same as that of 2.0. Please refer notes 1286364, 1296686 and 1300964. These are the release notes of different patches of SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0 and none of the notes contains a link for Installation guide.

Thanks and also I Just want to knew that what version of sca files (deployment) for UI configuration in SRM MDM 3.0 ?

Hi,

In the relase note it has been mentioned that "Please use the SDM to deploy the sca file included in this delivery" and my suser id has no access rights to view the SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0. But it is always recommended to use the contents availabe in the delivery itself else you may face version issue.

Dear Muthu,

I would appreciate if you have 5 minutes to spend for me.

I have installed a SRM-Server 7.01 (ABAP).

Now, I am installing the SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0

As read in the installation guide, I have to :

1. Install a SAP NetWeaver AS-JAVA (done)

2. Install SAP NetWeaver MDM Components (MDS, MDIS, MDLS, MDSS, ...).

My question :

When I install SRM-MDM Catalog, I do not have any option to install a DATABASE instance.

In other terms, where are SRM-MDM Catalog data saved ?

Hello,

you have to use the java database...

after the srm-mdm installation...:

1- create new db schema on the java database

2- create a new tablespace for your mdm

3- connect mdm with the db (schema)

You can more details on it.

@CP2009:

You must have a sql database(Oracle/MSSQL/etc) installed in your landscape before installing MDM Server.
