Hello:

I reinstall MI Client in other language. But when I try to do a Synchronization it shows the following exception:

20060317 20:17:43:350] E [AppLog/MI/API/Services ] MultiObjectFileStorage: Error in data read access to

mapping file C:\Program Files\SAP Mobile Infrastructure\data\LastSuccessfulSync\datreg.obj -

Generating initial mapping (root cause: C:\Program Files\SAP Mobile Infrastructure\data\LastSuccessfulSync\datreg.obj

(The system cannot find the file specified) [java.io.FileNotFoundException])

When I return and reinstall the software in English it works fine. Can anybody help me?

Thanks

hello mario,

was the exception shown in the Synchronization Logs or just

logged in the trace file?

you may just ignore this coz this file does not exist right

after the installation. it is being created/updated right

after the last successful synchronization. on your next sync,

this will not occur anymore...

hello mario,

can you try checking on the file

<MI_INSTALLATION_DIR>\data\LastSuccessfulSync\datreg.obj

in your MI installation? does it exist? if it exist, try

checking on the file attribute; it might be set to read-only.

what's your MI version and patch level btw.

Hello Jo:

I check the file and it exist and is not in read only mode. The MI is SP13 with patch00.

hello mario,

try:

1) shutdown MI

2) rename the folder LastSuccessfulSync to LastSuccessfulSync_OLD

3) start MI & sync

if problem persists, try applying the latest patch for sp13.

Hello Jo:

I tried that but it doesn't work. I install the same software SP13 path00 with an IDES System and the Synchronize function correctly (Different languages). I think it could be a problem with the Operating System. Any idea?

Thanks
