Version 0 not defined

Hello all,

We're working on IDES. In VA01 we're getting err: Version 0 is not defined for fiscal yr 2009. To solve this we're doing OKEV. There also when we click on "Settings for Each Fiscal yr" we get err: Activation of the indicator is not permitted". Diagnosis of this err: You activated an indicator (Plan, Actual, WIP/ results analysis or Variance calculation) in the basic settings for version 1 in CO Area. However, a higher order of settings (general version definition) prevents you from setting this indicator in version 1.

Plz tell how to solve this issue.

Dear Siddhant,

err: Version 0 is not defined for fiscal yr 2009.

Maintain, as following

T. Code: OKEV

• Key-in Controlling Area, and "Don't Hit Enter", instead

• Click on Tab: APPEND and check Box: Version and Click: OK

• Screen: Determine Work Area: Entry, here, Enter Version From: 0, and "ENTER"

• Select the line indicating version 0

• Click: Setting for Each Fiscal Year (Left-hand Dialog Structure) and maintain relevant checks for the year (say, unlock Column-Box: 2009) etc...

• SAVE.

err: Activation of the indicator is not permitted".

T. Code: OKKP

Select your Controlling Area and Click: "Activate Components/Control Indicators (Left-hand Dialog Structure) for the mentioned Controlling area, fiscal years maintained should be from year in which you have started using SAP.

For example,

Fiscal Year: 2000 to end date 9999.

Although err: "Version 0...." issue has got solved & order was saved. But now del. is not possible. In Picking tab, Pick qty column is 0 & grey. Err: "Del. has not yet been picked (completely). Del. has not yet been completely processed by WM". Now how to make Pick quantity col. white?

Go to ovlp select your item category and tick the box "Relevant for Picking".

Dear Siddhant,

You will have to make your item Category - Relevant for Delivery.

To do the above follow this:

IMG - Logistics Execution - Shipping - Deliveries - Define Item Categories for Deliveries - Select the required Item Category.

Under Warehouse Control & Packing - Put Tick mark in Check Box of Relevant for Picking.

This would solve you problem.

Dear Siddhant,

You have activated Warehouse Management, in your system for the storage location.

Check in the document flow of the delivery. if a Transfer Order has been automatically created. If it is there, select it and click on Display document and confirm this Transfer Order. This will complete the WM part of the delivery.

If the Transfer Order has not been created, in the T. Code: VL02N, where you enter the delivery order number, select the menu path -

Subsequent Functions -> Create Transfer Order

and process the Transfer Order by creating it first and then confirming it.

Apart, this -

Please put the relevant for picking in the Delivery Item Category definition in the customization:

SPRO -> Logistics Execution -> Shipping -> Picking -> Define Relevant Item categories

Apart from OKEV, you also need to maintain the relevant datas in OKEQ. Have you maintained that ??
