retrieve Display text of (Static) DropdownList

Hi,

I have a Static dropdown list in which i have entered some Key and Display Text pairs. My dropdown is showing the display texts only and while passing to backend it is passing the key which is fine.

Now in a different screen I want to show to the user which value he has selected. For this i want to show the Display Text but not the Key. Could any one please let me know how to get the display text associated with the key?
