hello,
we want to integrate our CRM and BW systems with out blanckberries devices.
Blackberry has its own operrating system.
Do you have any experience in integrating an SAP System with blackberry?
do we have to use Mobile Infraestructure for that?
thanks for any feedback,
kind regards,
Laura

Hi Laura,
I had made an application which integrates BW Server and MI Server.
The BW reports are displayed on PDA or Blackberry.
You do not need MI client for that.
If you want i can share the details with you.
For blackberry you need MDS toolkit and WAD(Web application Designer).
If satisfied please reward.
regards
AKHIL

Hi Suzzi,
I worked on BlackBerry for quite a long time. BlackBerry doesnot support MI yet. MI needs Window CE OS.
However you may not need MI for your CRM. BB MDS will be a lot helpful to you in this regard to develop your aplication and you can deploy it using BlackBerry Enterprise Solution.
Let me know if it was helpful to you.

Hello,
I work for BlackBerry and have done a lot of work related to SAP on BlackBerry. You do not have to use Mobile Infrastructure for either of these applications. For mobile BW reports you can use BW Web App Designer but make sure you publish reports that work well on the BlackBerry screen size. I have lots of tips for you if you want to email me offline. For CRM, depends on what you want to do. There is Mobile Sales Online from SAP which is a browser-based application for myCRM. Alternatively, you can build custom applications for BlackBerry using SAP Web Services and the BlackBerry MDS Studio toolkit.
If you want more info, just email me at tlessard@rim.com and I'm happy to help
