Hello,
I'm able to login to Integration Repository. I'm working on a big IDOC mapping. Sometimes
when I try to save, I'm getting an error
No authorization for this action.
I can't save or close the mapping and the IR after this and have to kill the process in Windows.
It seems he kick me after a timeout and if I try to do an action (like save or open an item)
he crashes.
Where to set up this timeout? How to avoid this behaviour?
Thanks
chris
please refer to the Note 1622692 - PI ESR: No authorization for this action

Same with me.
I start Enterprise Service Builder or Integration Builder an am able to edit my scenarios.
After about 1 to 2 hours it suddenly says "no authorization" and there's nothing I can do but kill the thread.
It's not a big problem if you know it, but it's really really annoying!
Using PI 7.1 EHP1 SPS08
Before, we were using PI 7.1 (w/o EHP). This error did NOT appear with the previous version.
We have two independently installed PI Systems, both EHP1 SPS08, and they both show the described behaviour.
If it's not a timeout, could it be some kind of OutOfMemory...?

Hi Christian,
there is no automatic timeout on the java side.
It looks like a bug, which PI version are you running on?

Hi,
Check with your authorisation team if you have all necessary roles (developer roles)
See if the admin is restarting the system without your notice...
it could also be your system configuration (PC with less memory etc) making it slow & hanging

I'm able to edit, so I think all necessary roles are implemented.
There is no reboot and it always happend after some times without
doing anything. All people of our team got this error, so it has nothing
to do with my computer.
I think there must be a parameter like "Logout after idle time" or something.
Runing XI 30 SP 21
regards
chris
