Hello,
I am facing a problem, that I need to create some report where I can see sales by customer, materials in some period.
My idea is to use QUERY for this, but I am not sure which logic DB use.

Apart from the standard TCodes which has already been suggested here, have you also tried with VF05 or VF05N ??
thanks

Hello Amit,
thank you, now I understand it.
I am a little bit afraid, that I cannot use it, because of some corporate restriction, but still you have gave me a lot useful info and I really appreciate it:-)

Dear Amit,
I know that you are not a fresher, I believe that you are an very experienced guru and I really appreciate your help...really!!! ... and thanks once again for it.
I tried all these reports:
Customer Returns-Analysis - MC+A
Customer Analysis- Sales - MC+E
Customer Analysis- Cr. Memo - MC+I
Customer Analysis-Basic List - MCTA
Material Analysis(SIS) - MCTC
Material Analysis-Incoming orders - MC(E
Material Returns-Analysis - MC+M
Material Analysis- Invoiced Sales - MC+Q
And each of these report is giving me message "No data exists for chosen selection".
And I think that my selection is not wrong and I am sure that there is a lot of data.
So what could be a problem? .... me?

Dear Dylan,
"No data exists for chosen selection"
If, above-said error is coiming for all the standard Reports, as mentione by You:
I suggest to Check/ Activate your LIS/ SIS Configuration in to your SAP System.
The settings have already suggested by me, so many times. Refer:
For SIS-related settings:
In material master (MM02), under View: "Sales: sales org.2" --> Field: "Matl Statistics grp",
, maintain 1
In customer master (XD02), under Tab: Sales Area Data --> Sub-Tab: Sales --> Field: "Cust Stats.Grp", maintain X
Best Regards,
Amit
Dear ALL,
thank you .... really a lot of very useful informations.
to Amit Yadav & sri nath: these analysis look very interesting, but somehow most of them don't work properly, because they give me no data.
to Arnel Adordioni: yes, from this Logical DB I can get data, which I need.

Dear Dylan,
Please consider me a fresher, by curiosity, I am just asking:
to Amit Yadav & sri nath: these analysis look very interesting, but somehow most of them don't work properly, because they give me no data.
What are the Data, not getting from Standard Reports?
I really intersted to know, how these reports are not working properly?
Best Regards,
Amit
ok,
I need to create report as I described, and I think that use QUERY is good option, but I am not very experienced with creating querie, so I am not sure with logical DB should I choose during creating Info Set. I need some sales report with customers and materials, ...
I tried to create InfoSet by table e.g. VBMTV, but is there any Logical DB for this purpose?
Generally how can I know, which logical DB use for creating InfoSets.
thanks

Dear Dylan,
What are all requirements, you need to capture, which are not coming in Standard Reports:
Customer Returns-Analysis - MC+A
Customer Analysis- Sales - MC+E
Customer Analysis- Cr. Memo - MC+I
Customer Analysis-Basic List - MCTA
Material Analysis(SIS) - MCTC
Material Analysis-Incoming orders - MC(E
Material Returns-Analysis - MC+M
Material Analysis- Invoiced Sales - MC+Q
Best Regards,
Amit

Hi Dylan,
I have used logical database VAV for sales reporting from my previous projects long time ago. This logical database joins the following tables.
VBAK
VBUK
VBKD
VBPA
VBUV
VBAP
VBUP
VBEP
VBFA
KONV
Be careful with the way you run queries as it normally takes toll to your system. You can also consider using LIS/SIS for your real-time reporting.
Let me know if this helps.

Arnel Adordionicio
