Installation is aborted with the following error:

There are no spaces in the path to CD folder. My account is local admin on the server.

BTW, it is the third system that I'm installing on this server. 2 previous installations went fine.

Does anybody have any clue how to fix this?

Thanks,

Konstantin

Can you say your host name?

Are you have installed this 2 systems, or it's fresh installation after formatting?

Regards.

There is no sapmmc_sar.tmp directory there. C drive has enough free space - 13 gigs.

Hi,

Error extract:

Caught exception while checking the login credentials for SAP J2EE Engine. Check whether the SAP J2EE Engine is up and running.

com.sap.engine.deploy.manager.DeployManagerException: ERROR: Cannot connect to Host: ansessap02 with user name: J2EE_ADMIN

Check your login information.

Did you try to start ABAP stack and tried to login with J2EE_ADMIN /Client 001 with the master password?

Thanks,

Manoj Chintawar

I'm not sure what you are talking about. I have no ABAP stack, I'm installing Java stack.

Are you sure you posted to the right thread?

Are you use shared folders for installation, or only local ? Usualy this error comes if you have space in path's, can you recheck all DVD paths again? Regards.

Hi,

Sorry, you have two threads option for the installation. Accidently, I picked up the other one.

Later on I tried to edit but could not modify the text.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Manoj

InstallMMC.log seems to be fine:

SAPCAR: processing archive D:/Installers/SAP_Installers/51033032-NW_2004s_SR2_UC_Kernel_7.00_WIN_IA32/KU_WINDOWS_I386/DBINDEP/SAPMMC.SAR (version 2.01)

Try to open OSS call .... May be you have also long Dir names like

D:/Installers/SAP_Installers/51033032-NW_2004s_SR2_UC_Kernel_7.00_WIN_IA32

Also are you have enough memory on 32 bit server? Regards.

How much memory you have? Try to check logs :

register_sapmmc.dll.log

register_sapmmcada.dll.log

register_sapmmcdb6.dll.log

register_sapmmcinf.dll.log

register_sapmmcms.dll.log

Try for testing : create folder sapmmc_sar.tmp

in C:/Program Files/sapinst_instdir/NW04S/SYSTEM/ORA/CENTRAL/AS/

and after continiue ...

Regards.

I have plenty of memory - 16 gigs. 11 are curently in use.

Logs you pointed to are empty files. Creating of the folder did not give anything, it was deleted by installtion process as it is probably supposed to.

The problem was solved by creating Desktop folder for All Users account. For some reason it did not exist.
