MTO issue

hi,

i have an issue in mtrl avl check - 7010

Sale order = 321455145

Parent part =po1512121

when i do a mtrl avl check in the prod ord no. x123, it says that there is a mtrl shoratge for child part x234 even though there is enough stock for the mtrl.

there is a similar child part x12 which has enough stock, but this does not reflect in mtrl shortage.

pls help

check whether any sales order is created for x234, and check in MD04. you will get the exact qty available for use,

Hi,

Check requirment type maintain in MRP 4 View for that material.

I think it is maintain as Individual or Individual/Collective both requirement type.

If this is the case then for MTO system always consider Special stock means stock which contains Account Assignment of particular Sales Order only.And if enough stock is there but it has no account assignment of that that sales order then you will get missing part msg during availability check in production order.

Check it and if required change requirement type (MRP 4) to collective only.

Remove Special stock indicator against the component for which shortage comes from Process Order (Production order)
