Key Data Structures in DP

can anyone let me know the Key Data Structures required in DP of APO.

The key data structure in APO DP will broadly consist of the following:

1) MPOS - Contains characteristics which represent the planning levels. Combinations of these characteristics (commonly refered as CVC) form the master data against which data is stored.

2) Planning Area - Contains key figures which are used for storing/generating planning data. This forms the central data structure engine in APO DP.

3) Planning Book - Used for displaying and editing planning area data by planners using Interactive Planning. These contain data views too.

4) Forecast Profiles - Used for generating the statistical forecast based on your sales history.

There are many more details which cannot be written down here and the SAP help link should be useful.

The DP key Structure

1- Infosource :- used for the transfer of transactional and master data from the source system to the SAP APO System.

2- Infoarea

3- Infocube :- contiaining palnning data (update rule specify for Keyfigure ,time characteristics )

4- Storage bucket profile

5- Time buucket profile

6-Fiscial year Variants

7-Master planning oblect structure

8-Planning Area for DP

9-Design palanning book and Data views

10-Master forecast profile
