Dear KB
QS41 is a customisation. So you need to go thru the transport Request only. Otherwise contact Basis and get the access directly

Hi Uma,
Open the client whenever you need to use QS41.
You can do it this way....
Run trx SCC4 and select your client, now select the radio button "Changes w/o automatic recording, no transport allowed" in the screen section Changes and Transport for Client specific objects.
Disadvantage:-
- If you will go with this option then there will be risk. by doing this entire client will be open for customizing activity and system will not generate any transport request for any customizing. So you need keep a strict watch that no one is customizing any thing while you have free the client for QS41 purpose only.
- This is not a permanent solution, I mean you need to Change the client through SCC4 each time you need use QS41.
Now there is other way to get read of it.
- Run trx SOBJ
- Click on Maintain Button
- Click on "Position" Button and enter the Object "V_QPGR_KAT". Press Enter.
- Double click on this object and reach the screen for "Change View :Object Header Data": Details.
- Here the settings should be Transport:- Automatic, Adjustment:-Automatically.
- And most importantly The chekc box for "Current Settings" must be ticked.
- Save.
If it doesn't Work then keep the value as "No transport" for the field Transport.
NOTE:- As soon as you will try to change this object, system will ask you for the Access key to change the object, hence this one is STD SAP object. So Kindly register this Object get the access key and then proceed further.Your basis guy will help you to register the object.
If there is any query pls feel free to revert.

Surprised!!!!
It worked for me more than once, mam!!!
Which option you have adopted. If the second option you have adopted then it must work.
Kindly explain me what you have done and what is happening, in details pls.

Shyamal
Have you tried using the value "NO Transport"??????????????

Yes you are correct. If you have applied the same for these two also. Nothing is wrong in it. Actually I have also done this for both QS41 and QS51. One of those two are belongs to QS51. But as you have asked for Qs41 only so I had give the object for QS41.
Anyways, above all these, your problem get resolved is at a prime IMP.
cheers,
Shyamal
Hi KB and Shyamal,
I am facing this same problem in my newly upgrade ECC 6.0 Production system.
Our client wants the transaction QS41 to be directly editable in the production environment, without opening the client everytime and neither through transport request.
Your option 1) talks about opening the client, which we do not want to do.
The 2nd option is also not working.
When we try to set the field Transport to 'No Transport', we get an error pop-up saying:
The flag for the transport link was corrected.
The detail error also does not help much.
Kindly advise how do we go about it.
Regards,
Santosh B
