De-activating Batch MAnagement

Hi,

At present Batch Management is activetd in the system. Now the requirement is client doesn't want to use Batch.Already some transactions have been created in the system.

In IMG- Define Batch level we maintained " Batch Maintained at Material Level"

So what are the steps for deactivation from SD side.

Hi

first clear the stock to zero and then deactivate the batchmanagement in Material Master.

and also you can deactivate in item category level as well as delete the automatic batch determination assignment to sales document types in IMG - Logistic General - Batch management

Hi,

I have 49,000 stock and i have 3 open sales orders which cant be delivered as delivery is asking for batch. In the material master batch management check is on.

what should i do?

Hello shahzad

Unfortunately once you have activated batch management for a material you cannot deactivate.
