problem with print preview

Hi gurus,

Thanx for the replies of my previous posts,i have a requirement for converting script to PDF and save on C drive,i have done that and is working fine,but my concern is now wen i try to see print preview in VA02 it doesn't show anything and directly saves as PDF,i want the print preview as well as save as pdf doc.

any help will be appreciated.

Hi Naren

SAP has provided a standard program in 4.6C, RSTXPDFT4, which you can use to convert any Spool request or ABAP Lists to a PDF File.

This proved to be quite useful as we can save reports and other printouts in read-only format (PDF).

This could be a temporary solution for many reports/formats which need to be communicated beyond company's boundaries - like vendors/customers/partners/legal advisors and so on. The program is tested in 4.6C, but will probably work with earlier versions as well.

Thanx for the reply,

But u still did not get me . from start,this script is a copy of std script and they customised it according the requirement,now i was asked to add logic For PDF conv,i have used the logic n its working fine,but b4 i used this conversion logic i used to see Print preview of sales order Thru VA02,n now its not showing after i used the logic.wat mite b the reason

Hi Naren,

Hope you used open_form,write_form and close_form.

If you use them and say excecute a window will be displayed where you have to select your printer etc.

There is an option called print preview you can click that and see your preview.

Or Else.

In form form itself got utilities->pagelayout or printing test

they will show you the print preview.

but thats not my problem,my concern is whenever i try to check print preview thru VA02 it doesnt show the preview of the output.it directly saves as PDF doc,but actually i havent changed any code instead added code for PDF conversions.
