Pricing Expertise

Hello All,

here is the scenario,

condition type ZAAA- price list of material -

VK11 ex- material KMAT- 100 per pcs

Material-CMAT- 200 per pcs

Material KMAT & CMAT belong to material price group. KC

condition type- ZBBB- discount on the material price group -

VK11 example - KC 40 %

Net Price in sales order- condition type ZAAA- 100- ZBBB 40% = 60 per pcs for KMAT

Net Price in sales order- condtion type-ZAAA- 200- ZBBB 40% = 120 per pcs for CMAT.

above is the pricing procedure that is in place. there is always a discount in place as per MPG because no one in the industry buys the list price, so that is necessary.

now the problem comes when the scales have to added as per material,

KMAT 20 pcs- 50 per pcs

CMAT- 40 pcs- 100 per pcs

and discount is always in place as per MPG, so the problem comes when it is calculating discount on the scale prices.

different product at any given time in the company - 200,000 range

MPG defined so far - 400

a solution to this would be appreciated.

Hi Sunny,

This is possible, you just need to setup your condition type ZAAA using the following scales.

for KMAT, ZAAA

from 1 PC 100

from 20 83.33

for CMAT, ZAAA

from 1 PC 200

from 40 166.67

Here's the solution I did for KMAT and can also be applied for CMAT.

ZAAA - 40% ZAAA = 50/pcs

ZAAA = (50/pc)/0.6

ZAAA = 83.33

I hope this helps.
