Error in Sourcing Cockpit, short dump & PO can't be created

Hello All

We are using SRM 4.0 -Extended Classic Scenario with ECC 6.0.

SOme buyers are getting error in Sourcing cockpit,when they click

'Assign to me' for other buyers requirements.

They get a short dump and the error message is ' Buffer table not up to date'

Also , even if they try to add the items to their worklist, and finally click on 'Create Purchase order',

They still get an error

"You cannot create a follow on document due to the errors that have occurred'

These are all MRO products( Product # in ECC & SRM) and as per users they were extended to a plant only yesterday night.

please check the dump in ST22. Interesting here are the function modules that are called before the abort is reached.

Summary

Symptom

Create a Shopping Cart with 2 line items having different backend

materials. Create a Purchase Order for Shopping cart item 1 from the

Sourcing Cockpit. Then login to the backend system and using transaction

MM02, block the material of shopping cart item 1 from procurement. Now, in

the Sourcing Cockpit, create a Purchase Order for Shopping Cart line item

2. In the Sourcing - Document Preview screen, an error message 'You cannot

create a follow-on document due to the errors that have occurred.' is

thrown. This note corrects the above mentioned error.
