SAP IDES Installation issue -

Hi , I'm trying to install SAP IDES and I get this error in RFC processing phase

below the log :

FJS-00012 Error when executing script.

The hosts file in System32/drivers/etc contains :

127.0.0.1 localhost

10.10.0.10 hp

I started the instance with Sap management console , it becomes green ...

Did I miss something ?

Hi,

It seems your DDIC password is wrong. change the ddic password in client 000 to the one which you submitted during installation and retry.

Where can I change it , I told that I couldn't logon , I got the same error above.

Your listener configuration is not correct.

How did you install the database? Did you execute "setup.exe"?

The SAP instance in MMC is green , so it's running...

For Database , I used server installation then client installation .

For SAP installation , I choosed domain instead of local installation...maybe it can impact

Actually I'm always at the step RFC connection (post processing).

Server and client? I asked how did you install the Oracle server software.

well, I used sapserver.bat after copying oracle installation file from SAP IDES CDs , then sapclient.bat command line.

What Oracle version is that? You seem to have a VERY old CD/DVD set, kernel 6.20 is long out of support.

If it's Oracle 8i then it won't work because Oracle 8i does not run on Windows 2003.

windows XP is not supported for SAP server products such as IDES.

Hi,

Since ur system is up and running u click on retry button and continue the installation.It will ask u to enter SAP* and DDIC passwords.

If u get errors still then post back the error.

I also tried to logon with SAPLOGON , but no way.

Please step into the instance work directory (DVEBMGS<sysno>/work), sort the logfiles by date and post the last lines of the newest ones of

dev_disp

dev_rfc<number>

try to login with user DDIC with the password you provided at installation.

if this does not work, search SDN on how to reset password of SAP' login as SAP and change password of DDIC.
