Hi

What is the purpose of EHP1 ? When you apply EHP1 for particular component what will happen ? or what for they applied ?

SAP EHP1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.0

SAP EHP1 for NetWeaver Composition Environment 7.1

SAP EHP1 for NetWeaver PI 7.1

Purpose: To adopt the new and improved software functionality, without a major upgrade project.

When you apply EHP1 for particular component what will happen?

Component? but as per my understanding this is not recommended by SAP, example: for business suite system (ERP6.0) it is not recommended to install EHP1 for only SAP netweaver.

Change and Transport System (Enhancements): Multiple users in a single transport request; extended authorization concept for non-ABAP systems; usage type DI now more closely linked to CTS; transports of Master Data Management content now possible

Interactive Offline PDF Forms (New): Integrate interactive PDF offline forms in your applications.

Generic Request and Message Generator has been enhanced.

Usage Type AS Java

Solution Manager and Business System Integration (New): There is a new CTC wizard for configuring the required basic settings for integration of a Business System (BS) into the Solution Manager (SM).

Adobe ABAP Print Forms (New): There is a new CTC wizard for configuring the Adobe Document Services (ADS) for use in print scenarios.

Data Archiving Process (Enhanced): You can now create a data archiving process for write-optimized DataStore objects in order to archive data.

Process Chains (Enhanced): Changed Process Types Deletion of Requests from the PSA and Deletion of Requests from the Change Log have been improved.
