Dear Friends:
Scenario: Sales Order is transferred from R/3 to APO. It is already used in SNP for total demand calculations.
Now is it possible to change this sales order in APO itself? May be using some BAPI etc.
Have you come across such scenario?
Thanks and Best Regards, Manoj
Dear Manoj,
This is a very unique scenario wherein you need to alter / modify Sales order in APO.
Sales Order cannot be changed at APO level.
It is not advisable also even if you can do it through some customization. The source system should always be the Base ERP and APO shoud fetch data from there.

Hi Manoj,
This is very strange scenario where SO need to change in APO. I do not understant what is the need of changing SO in APO. If you can share more information on the scenario and business process that would be really helpful boosting knowledge on business processes.
Coming back to your issue, it is recommanded that you modify SO in R3 only as R3 is where SO is getting generated. Even if you modify SO in APO using some custome developement it will create inconsistencies between R3 and APO which will be more trouble some.

To my knowledge it is not possible to modify the Sales order in APO which is created and CIFfed from R/3. You can only modify the order if it is created in APO.
