Why cant we configure scenario in ID with Buss service?

Hi,

I created integration scenario and tried assigning Business system and Business service

idk hw to assign Business service to Integration scenario.

SDN search provided me with the below similar links...

I was wondering, what made SAP to provide support for Party (B2B) in Integration scenario but not Business service?

any exact reason anyone is aware of?

If you use Party, you can use Business Service.

I am confused now.

Guys, Let me rephrase my question now as....

I am trying to create Integration scenario with a Business system and Business service.

I couldnt able to assign Business service to Integration scenario.

Hence, I searched SDN and above links ( in my previous post ) told me that I cannot assign Business service to Integration Scenario.

Is there a way that I can use Business service in my Integration scenario?

if yes, how ?

I think you can not use Business Service in Integration Scenario, coz Business Serivces doesn't exist in SLD.

Yes. The only way is when it is a B2B scenario with "Party" configuration done. Only in such a case, Business Service could be assigned. In integration scenario first youy have to select the Party name and then you can add Business Service.

Otherwise in rest of the cases, business services can't be used.

Hi Venkat,

If you have Party Communication, you can use a Business Service.

Define party and add Business service to it.

If you want to assign business service to Integration scenario , Go to objects tab ->business service, right click ,then do add to scenario.

I am not sure, whether this is what you are looking for...!!

1. If you want to assign business service to scenario in PI7.0 go to objects tab and select business service listed and right click you will get option add to scenario .

2. If you create a Party there also you can have both business system and business services too.

if your context of question is different do post it
