Hi,

This functionality is already built in with SDN.

Open any of the Forum which you want to monitor(say receive mails).

Then click on "Watch this Forum" jusst above the list of all Threads posted in that Forum.

Then you can perform the settings in the "Your Control Panel" top right corner.

Under "Your Watches" , you can specify whether you want to receive any Email alerts or not.

I hope this information will help.

Best Regards,

Hi Pradeep,

Thanks for your reply. I couldn't locate "Watch this Forum". I will appreciate your further help regarding this.

In "Your Control Panel" top right corner, under "Your Watches" I couldn't find any option for email alerts for each and every threads getting posted in this forum.

I now look forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi,

I will tell you the complete procedure for one of the Forum, same is applicable for others also.

Say you have opened "Forum: SRM General"

Navigate to :: Expert Forums » SAP Solutions » SRM - General

OR

/community

Just below the "Top 3 contributors, last 30 days" list, you will find following text.

- Post New Thread

- Watch Forum

- Mark All Threads as Read

- Back to Forum List

Just click on Watch Forum.

You can use search option of your browser(Firefox or IE), to search for "Watch Forum" string on the page.

Then you can use "Your Control Panel".

I hope this information will help.

Best Regards
