Client deletion

Hi friends,

I am going to work on a task to delete some unused clients in QAS system.

I will use SCC5 to delete the clients.

But my question is can I start client deletion when other clients are in use..

Is it going to make the entire SAP system slow or degrades performance until the deletion completes.

Hai,

You can delete unwanted clients in a system when other clients on use.

The performance degradation depends on the size of the client, if the client has more data then it will take more time to delete, also it depends upon your Hardware. If you are really concerned about the performance of the system use Parallel processing or do it when the system load is low.
