Trex alert server configuration: no automatic mails triggering

Hi,

We are running Trex server for our E-recruitment system. Initially we have problem with Index. we have found an error in trex server which says index got corrupted. We have re- created new index. and it is working fine now.

The Idea is we want to setup a alert mechanisam in the trex server . we have maintained data in

" Maintain Alert Server configuration" window. as follows.

SMTP server: ib-mail.saphwdf.sap.corp

Mail recipients: valid mail id's provided here.

Send Mail : yellow/Red we chosen yellow.

we have created check set name : test_demo and we make it active by selecting the check box.

we have defined the check name : cpu_usage and parameter values are warning=01% and error=02%

and saved the settings.

But here we are not getting the alerts mails to specified email Id's. Please assit.

Trex server Information:

version: 7.10.15.00

os : windows 2003 server.(x64, service pack 1)

Hi Yoganand,

Thanks for your reply.

I need the Alert server configuration settings. How to trigger the mails.

Test mail send is working fine. I am getting the mail.

where as when I define the check set name and define the parameters, after reaching the threshold values , yellow/red alerts are showing in server

but mails are not coming.
