Contact Person number range

Hello Experts

Please let me know the NUMBER RANGE settings required when i create the contact person for a sold-to party.(in a contact person tab).

As when i maintain any contact person say DJ in the contact person tab of a sold-to, the contact person (DJ) picks up certain number.

How this particular number gets assigned to DJ?

Hi,

Like the number of sale document can be assigned automatically for a range assigned to the sales document type, in the case of customer this range is determined by the Account group.

When you say DJ Picks up some number in Contact Person Tab ....Can you tell me which field are you talking here ?

The table for the same in KNVK. But how the numbers are getting generated for the contact person which are maintained in the sold-to party contact person tab
