Hi all,
How to configure backup using brtools for the portal system (EP 6.0)
I tried schedule backup from brtools for the portal 6.0 system
and got the below error

We are not here to do your work for you. If there are not answers to your quesiton, it is either because people do not know, or they do not have the time to answer. Requesting updates is unacceptable in the Forums.
That being said, have you ever successfully run backups on this system before? Does the ops$ora<sid> user exist?
Perhaps you can perform a Note search, too. There are many Notes about ORA-1031.

Well, its an old incident and i see the response you have got.
I too had challenges in getting correct information in SCN.
So just activated SCN id to reply .. just to make sure SAP information doesn't remain cryptic as i have found in help.sap or SAP Notes.
your issue is with oracle client not with brtools.
follow these two notes strictly for your release
819829 - Oracle Instant Client Installation and Configuration on Unix
1945171 - Cannot load module libclntsh.a during start of br*tools command or DB13 job
