Spool Request Recovery

Hii All

In our system, the spool request is automatically deleted after billing documents are printed.

Can anyone let me know the settings through which we can store this spool request and reuse if it is required further

goto sp02 double click on spool no it will take u to output control screen

in spool attributes tab...

at the end u have a check box named (Delete After Output).....this should be unchecked ....and deleete on date is provided ie.. spool will not be deleted till the date u specify

Just check this and let me know if it works.

What is the output type that you are using for billing documents (for printing) ?

Go to TCODE : VV32, VV33

Give your output type for printing here.

Give the sales organization say 1000.

On the next screen select your billing doc type and click on communication.

On the right side there are 2 check boxes

Try unchecking "Release after output". Just check the documentation

"Switch for deleting a print job. If the switch is set, the spool job is

deleted immediately after printing. Otherwise it remains in the spool

file after printing and can be printed again if required."

Thanks for the reply. Actually the billing output is not trggered manually but there is a batch job scheduled which runs everyday to print these invoices.

The setting for our spool is such that any spool executed successfully will be deleted from SP01 in two days.

Is there a way we can archive or save these spool request.

Check the report RSPRIPARADMIN mentioned in the note

if ur o/p is triggred through smartforms

then check the field and pass

pass the value in import of f.m

OUTPUT_OPTIONS TYPE SSFCOMPOP

TDDELETE Delete After Printing (Print Parameters)

TDLIFETIME Spool Retention Period (Print Parameters)-->here period can be extended to 10 days

hi,

u can make use of nast parameters DSNAM , DSUF1 or DSUF2 .

put a select on nast and store these values in some variables .

hope this shud solve ur issue .
