Hello,
I need to disable the "user settings" via mouse context menu. The user shouldn't bei able to hide UI Elements. So I set the parameter WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION to 'X' in my WD application.
In the developing system, this works fine. When I transport this application to the live system, the user can still hide elements via mouse context menu although the application has the same settings as in the developing system.
Does anybody know this problem or has an idea, what the reason might be?
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Kerstin
Hello Kerstin,
such settings are read initially and cached than for better performance. That might explain, why WDDISABLEUSERPERSONALIZATION seems not to work directly after importing successfully into the quality system or into the production system.
Best regards,
Andreas

Hello Andreas,
thank you for your answer. I already cleared the cache of my browser before posting a message in this forum and it still didn't work. Nevertheless your right: after one day it's working fine now without changing anything. So it's not only the browser's cache which should be cleared.
Best regards,
Kerstin
