Automatic TO for putaway: How to Exclude a Storage Type

Dear warehousers,

We are about to automate the putaway TO's. So far it works fine, but for a number of Storage Types I am trying to find a way to exclude them: here we want to continue processing TO's in foreground.

I am surprised not to have found any option to do this.

What am I missing here?

Hi,

There are some options in creating a different mvt and use this one for the storage types for which you want to create a TO in foreground, in combination with a special movement indicator (not a fancy one).

Other option is a user exit in combination with an entry in table (S)TVARV. You could enter all storage types for which you want to create TO's in foreground in this table and have the user exit read the TVARV and decide whether TO needs to be created in foreground or not.

You can very well do this through controlling mvt type. IMG path is

SPRO> SAP reference IMG Activity>Logistics Execution>Warehouse Management>Activities>Transfers> Set Up Autom TO Creation for TRs/Posting Change Notices.
