error in sapmmc : dispatcher stopped.

Hi,

error occuring in sapmmc. In processlist the dispatcher (disp+work.exe) is stopped and the process showing yellow colour. help me solve this problem.

Hello,

Try r3trans -d from command prompt and see whether you can connect to database or not. Secondly if it is oracle check your listner service is started.

As Juan said, Listner is not runnig, so start the Listner first

lsnrctl status

lsnrctl start

then R3trans -d

if the value is 0000

then start the SAP server

Check whether the DB is up and running.

You can also check running R3trans -d

Also check Listener is running.

Hello,

Remember to login as <SID>adm in the system. I mean login as <SID>adm into system and then try to start SAP via mmc.
