Different price picking up in sales order

Former Member

Hi experts,

I have maintained two condition records for PR00 with validity periods and price as follows:

15.12.2008 to 20.01.2009(2 USD)

21.01.2008 to 02.02.2009(10 USD)

Now when i raise a sales order on 20.01.2009, the price is 10 usd rather than 2 usd....

actually when i click analysis tab in sales order and see, its 2 usd, but when i click the PR00 line in conditions tab and click condition record directly , its 10 usd...

I am unable to determine the reason of why its picking 10 usd even though the sales order is dated 20.01.2009.

Expecting all your help...

Thanks in Advance,

Pre

Dear Preethi

Any condition type with condition class B should be only once in pricing procedure

If it there twice system will pick the second one only according to their allignment (step nos in Pricing procedure)

(Say if you both condition types PR00 and PR02 in a single pricing procedure)

Similarly for a price condition type should maintain record in only one table in its access sequence and if you are maintainig records in mutliple tables you should make use of the exclusive indicator set in the access sequence

If the system finds two records and no exclusive is marked then the second one will only be considered for calculation

This is what is happening to you

Moreover going by your thread once more the validity dates are overlapping and abnormal

I feel the system reaction is correct

Validity period period ideally should be 15.12.2008 to 20.01.2009 price is 2 dollars and 21.01.2009 to 02.02.2009 it should be 10 dollars

Then your requirement will come perfectly

As per per ur statement Validity period 15.12.2008 to 20.01.2009 price is 2 dollars and 21.01.2008 to 02.02.2009 it should be 10 dollars

your validity is overlapping hence the second record has taken control

Dear Preethi,

Check the Required delivery date of the sales order this date might be after 20th so system will considering 10 Usd(21.01.2008 to 02.02.2009(10 USD)).

Keep the Req. deliv.date bellow 20th then check.

After keeping the Req.deliv.date you just go to pricing tab then click on Update push button to update the price.

I hope this will help you,

Regards,

Murali.
