LSMW - Material Master

Hello!

Is it possible to migrate material data for General Plant Data/Storage 1 or 2 using LSMW? Maybe the problem is in the recording because it doesn t recognize this particular views!

Hi!

I think this is the problem...

When i'm displaying the record for Basic Data it appears:

MM01 Create Materials

-SAPLMGMM 0600 (with the industy sector and the material type)

-SAPLMGMM 0070 ( with X for the selected views)

BDC_CURSOR - MSICHTAL

BDC_OKCODE - =ENTR

MSICHTAUSW-KZSEL(01) - X

MSICHTAUSW-KZSEL(02) - X

-SAPLMGMM 4004 (with the items for basic data)

....

However, When i'm displaying the record for General Plant Data/Storager it appears:

I think the problem is that it´s recording when i´m sliding down the screen and that´s why when i m running the batch imput session, exactly on the Create Material (Initial Screen) it appears the error message "Select at least one view".

What do you think?

Sorry to question again but why do you want to replicate these data into SRM ?

What for ?

Isn't it more simple to read these R/3 data from SRM without replicating them ?

Joao is not trying to replicate R/3 materials into SRM product master, but instead trying to create R/3 material master data with LSMW tool.

I think you should post your question in the forum dedicated to R/3, where you should meet more people with LSMW experience on R/3 materials:

Hi!

I want to migrate material data to R/3 using LSMW. The other views like basic data,sales or purchasing went alright. However when i want to do the same for general plant data/storage 1 and 2 it doesn t work. I guess the problem is that this particular views ( general plant data/storage 1 and 2) are in the lower part of the select views´s screen and the recording records when i´m sliding down in the screen to pick those views.

What do you exactly want to do ? Business Case ?

Replicate material master from R/3 to SRM ?

If yes, standard middleware tool provide this feature.
