Can we create billing doc before we create the Sales order, If so what could be the senarios where it is possible

Generally billing happens against delivery or order but if you have visited any food court like Hadiram and Ganguram you might have found that billing happens first.

can you please explain in some more detail, can we create billing or change billing document date before the sales order date?

Dear Nivi,

we can not create a billling document without preceding document like sales order and delivery document. you will require atleast one reference document for billing.
