Hi There,
I've installed MaxDB 7.6.00.29 and have an issue applying the patch. MaxDB is part of my LiceCache instance. I would appreciate some help in resolving this issue. Here are the details
On unsuccessful completion of the patch I see the following version registered
Kernel Information
Kernel Version 'Kernel 7.6.04 Build 009-123-182-193'
RTE Version 'X64/AIX 7.6.04 Build 009-123-182-193'
Console command finished (2009-02-06 12:38:35).
The database does start and its the phase load_lcapps which the patch instller is not able to execute.

Hello Srikanth,
-> As SAP customer you have option to create the OSS ticket to get SAP support, we could login to your system & check the status of the reported issue.
-> "I've installed MaxDB 7.6.00.29"
Was you able to restart the liveCache after installation?
How did you install the liveCache instance?
Did you have problems to load system tables?
Run the following commands:
dbmcli -s inst_enum
dbmcli -s db_enum
sdbregview -l
dbmcli -d QL1 -u control,control user_getall
dbmcli -d QL1 -u control,control user_get superdba
xinstinfo QL1
update the thread with outputs.
-> "registering liveCache application procedures...
registering lcapp routines failed
load_lcapps
ERR
-24996,ERR_PARAM: wrong parameters
0,SAP user not found"
Please check that the lcinit script works with the correct liveCache
Standard user, 'SAP<SID>' by default installation
=> run the command
dbmcli -d QL1 -u control,control
<enter>
Dbmcli on QL1>sql_execute user-type=SAP select user from dual
<Please read note 811207. >
Is it return the liveCache Standard user name?
-> Post the errors lines and some additional lines before errors from the knldiag file.
Thank you and best regards, Natalia Khlopina

Dear Natalia,
Since I've posted the issue we have reinstaltted MaxDB as we could not get to the bottom of the issue. Currently we have a bigger problem. The install completes successfully and Database Manager can not connect. We have checked on the config files and we could see them created. To list these files
<independent_data_path>\config\QL1,
<dependent_path>\env (Note: folder does not exit)
/usr/spool/sql/ini/WebAgent<version>.ini,
<loader_application_data>\config\loader.cfg,
<independent_program_path>\env\dbanalyzer<version>.cfg
Further to this I did a sanity check with the following commands and here is the output
---
/sapdb/programs/bin/dbmcli on arlql1lc : QL1>version

Here is the intresting bit. On the source system we have SL1/DL2/QL2/DL1/QL1 but on the target system its a fresh install of QL1 and there would be only one live cache instance. I'm pretty sure the OS admin has copied somefiles over from the source system that I do not know and need to review or regnerate. Wonder if you could tell me the location of the configuration file.

update the thread with outputs.
-> "The install completes successfully and Database Manager can not connect."
What errors/problems did you get?
