Dears,
My question is my client invoices a customer an invoice of $ 50,000, when the customer gets the invoice he only pays $20,000 at first then pays the rest later. How would i set this up in SAP? since there's no agreement by the client and customer of paying in half or a certain amount.
Hi,
This is partial payment scenario.
1. If there is no prior agreeement with customer:
- We have to keep invoice open and receive partial payment via F-28 (receivable transaction).
- Due date of invoice will be from the date of invoice even for balance amount.
2. If their is prior agreement with customer:
- We can define installment payment term with partial payment due dates.
- Receive amount based on due date.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks and Regards,
Shabeer Ahammed
