Hi,
Is it possible to transfer RFQ from MM to SRM 7.0 as a standard functionality.
Aslo can SRM7.0 be integrated with lower versions of ECC if yes, whta functionalities will be not available.
Thanks,
Manu
Hello,
SRM 7.0 has harmonised role concept, so on portal buyer views the PReq & SC on one screen. As a standard buyer can select PReq line items and trigger creation of a RFx directly without sending it to sourcing cockpit. Idea is to create RFx in SRM directly (though internally system creates SC) & replace RFQ process of ECC.
Yes, SRM 7.0 can be used with 4.7 & above but functionalities like harmonized roles, service procurement(hierarchies) and some portion of central contract management (call off from SRM contract) will only be available with ECC 6.0 with EhP4.
Hope this helps.
Thanks

Hi Ashutosh,
Thanks for the response.
Aalso, pls let me know is there any standard report/saervice(SOA Based) which can be used to transfer RFQ in MM to SRM7.0
Harmonised roles are like we are viewing the RFQ items in the same screen and creating the RFx directly in SRM(Correct me if am wrong).
Customer is looking lke say he createS RFQ in MM and then the same is available in sourcing cockpit for bidding and other activities. Is this scenario possible.
Thanks,
Manu
Hello Manu,
With harmonised role buyers will be able to view the ECC PReq line items in POWL, buyer can select PReq line item & using the "Collective Processing of Purchase Requisition" (CPPR) he can either
1. Send the PReq to central sourcing(SOCO)
2. Create RFQ in ECC or Create RFX in SRM (Controlled via a BADI)
Buyer can either create a RFQ or RFx based on the BADI but not both. So, there is no RFQ transfer from ECC to SRM.
Buyer can directly create RFx using harmonised roles (triggering RFx from MM) so there is no need to create RFQ in ECC.
Hope this helps.
Thanks
Ashutosh
