"partner function type location' error is getting approoval

Hello,

There is a custom portal ' My Purchase' . when a shopping cart approval workitem is executed then there are errors like 'no address found for partner function type location' and enter no more than one partner of type location'

When the same workitem is executed from standard portal it works fine without any errors.

Could you please guide me with initial thoughts on this issue ? Iand dont know how to proceed

Note 1103966 - Error BBP_PD 051 in SRM documents

Summary

Symptom

During the change of an SRM document error BBP_PD 051 " No address found

for partner function type & "occurs. This error occurs for the partners

"Requestor" or "Recipient" if the employee assigned to this partner is not

valid anymore in SRM. This can happen if in SRM HR replication is active

and in HR this employee was delimited because he left the company.

Cause and Prerequisites

Program Error.

If an employee is delimited from HR system, when the employee is replicated

to SRM system the corresponding business partner's BP relations will be

deleted. The documents (PO, SC and etc.,) refers

this relation for address validation.

Solution

Please implement the attached correction.

Prerequisites:-

Since the employee has left / retired the company and he is

delimited in HR, lock the related userid in SRM

(from SU01 transaction).

Once the related userid is locked, the central purchaser can

process the documents further and no new documents would be

created by the locked user.

If the employee is reorganized in HR and replicated to SRM, then

the documents won't show any errors. In this case the userid

shouldn't be locked.

However location meand partner function 27. so please look into the plant details

plant= location in srm
