Item Category ZTAX issues

Hey Gurus,

We are using a ZTAX item category for a few materials. When we use this item category, we are getting an incompletion log that is populated for Order Quantity and Profitability Segment no. We are manually populating the order quantity and we are still getting this error. the profitiability segment no is not being populated for ZTAN items or ZTAX items but we are getting an error on ZTAX items to populate this field.

Do you guys have any suggestions for cleaning this up?

This didn't solve our problem but it was a good start.

Hi,

Find current incompletion log of ZTAX item category from VUP2 transaction.

Then go to OVA2 transaction and select sales document item. Then select procedures node.

Find above identified incompletion log procedure.

Make a copy of same, remove the particular field which given error for text item category.

Assign new incompletion log procedure to ZTAX item category in VUP2 transaction.

Hello Nina,

I believe you guys are using ZTAX Item Category for Non-stock Items.If yes then in the T.code VOV7 select ZTAX item category and in Transaction Flow Tab Incompletion Procedure ensure that it is 25 (Service Item). If it is different then the problem will come.Hope it helps.
