Product Hierarchy maintanence for future

Hi,

I have a requirement of maintaining product hierarchy in T179 table for future effective date. The requirement is to start creating new product hierarchy in the system in the last quarter of the year. However it will be effective only on the first day of the new year. The current product hierarchy will continue to remain effective then. Is there any standard SAP solution to this?

Hello Friend,

I dont think there is any standard solution for the same as Product Hierarchy is maintained in the Material Master and you cannot activate and deactivate based on different parameters.Only option is to maintain the new Product Hierarchy in the Material Master from the date you want it to be activated by changing in Material Master in T.code MM02.
